Building MeetingMinutes — Voice to actions. No login required.

The Problem

Project managers are drowning in Jira, Asana, and Monday.com—tools that demand training, logins, and constant dashboard updates. Yet the most effective teams just record meetings and extract clear action items. The result: you either use bloated software everyone resents, or stay simple and look incompetent in interviews.

What I'm Thinking of Building

MeetingMinutes turns voice recordings into structured action lists in 90 seconds. Record a meeting, our AI extracts owners, due dates, and next steps, then sends results straight to Slack or email. No dashboards to maintain, no tool adoption theater—just clear output that your team actually uses.

Who It's For

Project managers and team leads at consulting firms, legal practices, and construction companies (15–50 people). Anyone running high-meeting-velocity teams who values clarity over complexity.

Key Features (Planned)

  • One-click voice recording that auto-transcribes meetings
  • AI-powered action extraction (owner, due date, priority, notes)
  • Send results to Slack, email, or calendar in 90 seconds
  • Team sharing via shareable links—no user seats required
  • Audit trail of all actions and decisions (for compliance-heavy teams)
  • Calendar sync to auto-pull meeting context and deadlines

I'm validating this idea before writing a single line of code. If this resonates with you, I'd love your feedback:

How many meetings does your team run per week, and what's the biggest pain point in tracking who's doing what after each one?

Check out the concept page and let me know what you think.
