Building QuoteFlow — Excel pricing automated quotes follow-ups, no code.

The Problem

Service providers like terrace builders spend hours manually creating quotes from Excel pricing models, then manually emailing them and chasing follow-ups. Existing quoting software is overbuilt and expensive ($100+/month), forcing them to choose between staying manual or paying for enterprise tools they don't need.

What I'm Thinking of Building

QuoteFlow connects your existing Excel pricing model directly to a website form. Customers fill out dimensions and options, the system automatically calculates the price using your Excel logic, generates a branded PDF quote, and triggers follow-up emails at Day 3, 7, and 14 if unanswered—all without coding or manual work.

Who It's For

Owner-operators and small teams at service businesses (terrace/deck builders, HVAC, roofing, landscaping) generating 5-20 quotes/month. Companies with <$2M revenue who already use Excel for pricing.

Key Features (Planned)

  • Connect your existing Excel pricing model—no rebuilding formulas
  • Customize web form fields (dimensions, materials, add-ons) to match your quote process
  • Auto-generate branded PDF quotes with your logo and terms
  • Automatic follow-up emails at Day 3, 7, and 14 for unanswered quotes
  • Simple dashboard to review, edit, and send quotes before they go out
  • Email notifications and basic CRM (track which quotes are pending, accepted, or lost)

I'm validating this idea before writing a single line of code. If this resonates with you, I'd love your feedback:

How many hours per week do you currently spend manually building quotes and following up with customers?
