This might be my most exciting feature! Now you can more easily adjust the "personality" of ChatGPT.

OpenAI believes that being more obedient and providing more reliable responses would be better. However, users feel that this reliability makes it more boring.
Personally, I think the updated style customization features, such as the newly added "Professional" and "Honest" modes, are actually more practical than that vague "Warm" concept.
This has made me wonder, what exactly do we want from AI?
Perhaps the concept of "warmth" and "being like a human" is inherently a subjective experience that is difficult to quantify.
The direction of AI development may be quietly changing.
The true essence of this upgrade might not lie in its greater human-like qualities, but rather in its increased controllability and reliability.
The previous AI was like a talented but somewhat crazy artist; you never knew whether its next statement would bring you joy or shock. The current GPT-5.1 is increasingly resembling a well-trained senior assistant. It may not make jokes with you, but when you give it professional instructions, it will never fail you.
