Hey everyone!
Do you find it tedious to manually create Docker Compose files whenever you want to spin up multiple web servers? Or are you tired of adding every host and domain to Nginx Proxy Manager by hand?
That’s exactly what I built DockAMP for.
DockAMP takes care of these tasks automatically. Create your web servers through a simple interface, and DockAMP can add them directly to Nginx Proxy Manager, so there’s no need to configure each proxy host manually.
DockAMP supports:
• Apache and Nginx web servers
• Multiple PHP versions
• MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases
• Node.js
• Python
The goal is simple: make running and managing multiple Docker-based web environments much easier, without having to write and maintain Docker Compose files for every setup.
You can find the project here:
https://hub.docker.com/r/keepcoolch/dockamp
Start it with docker run:
docker run -d \
--name dockamp \
--restart unless-stopped \
-p 8080:8080 \
-v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock \
-v dockamp_data:/data \
-v dockamp_sites:/sites \
--add-host host.docker.internal:host-gateway \
keepcoolch/dockamp:latest
Or with Compose:
services:
dockamp:
image: keepcoolch/dockamp:latest
container_name: dockamp
restart: unless-stopped
ports:
- "8080:8080"
volumes:
- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
- dockamp_data:/data
- dockamp_sites:/sites
extra_hosts:
- "host.docker.internal:host-gateway"
volumes:
dockamp_data:
dockamp_sites:
I’d love to hear your feedback and ideas for features or improvements!
