KNOW THIS BEFORE GETTING INTO TECH

“Novice”, “Starter” and “Learner” are the words synonymous to a beginner. If you have no prior experience to the creating process related to software; then my friend you are a beginner.
Fret not, as hard and competitive the tech space is, It is very rewarding at the top (which requires lots of work).

Let’s get to the gist, there are so 2 facets of tech(in my terms):
Coders
Non-coders

Coders write computer codes/programs. Computer programs are sets of instructions written in a programming language for a computer to execute. Coders are versed in programming languages. Examples of programming languages include:
Python
C++
Java
JavaScript
Go, etc.
Coders a.k.a Programmers are tasked with writing in a language depending on the required goal. The choice of a programming language depends on what the coder wants to do- be it web development, game development, etc.

Non-coding is the other facet of tech that does not involve writing computer code. You might not be seduced with idea of writing code, below are opportunities for non-coders:
User eXperience (UX) Designer
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist
Technical writing
Data Analyst
Growth Hacker, etc
There are much more non-coding job roles in tech which you can explore. Also, there are emerging jobs being created everyday as technology continues to disrupt and redefine the future of work.
