The problem is that traditionally, adpative AI in games considers only the players short term behaviours to learn and adapt to make decisions that affect the game but don’t consider the long term behavior over the playthrough time. I beileve that this tends to limit the potential of video games in immersing the user in a unqiue experience only they can have. I wanted to know if this is something valid to research about and if that can help in the space of game development. If you have any suggesting to research paper I can read to get more idea, it would be a big help.
Or even ideas I should explore rather than this in the space of AI.
