A quick update on LIBRE, the anonymous writing space I launched recently.
In case you missed it, LIBRE is a simple, anonymous website where anyone can write freely, without login, accounts, or tracking. No likes, no comments, no pressure. Just write, and let go.

✅ What’s new?
Over the past few days, I’ve been working on small but meaningful improvements, based on real-world use and feedback:
🌍 Accurate Country Detection (193 countries)
- LIBRE now detects visitors' countries more reliably — covering all 193 UN-recognized countries.
- This improves future plans for global stats, language insights, and subtle personalization (without compromising anonymity).
🗣️ Language Filter (Spanish / English)
- You can now filter the thoughts by language.
- Helps users read what's most relevant or understandable to them.
- For now, only English and Spanish are supported — more may come later.
✍️ Auto-Draft Mode
- One of the most requested features: your text won’t disappear if you accidentally close or refresh the page.
- Your current draft is saved locally (browser-only) until you publish or clear it.
🔢 Character Counter
- A small but helpful addition: see how much space you have left as you type (max: 500 characters).
- Helps with clarity and intentional writing.
📌 Coming soon
- Anonymous “echo” mode: old thoughts resurfacing at random.
- Optional prompt suggestions for those who need a nudge to write.
- Very light touch moderation for flagged or harmful content.
Thanks to everyone who's tried LIBRE so far — it's still an experiment, but it’s slowly becoming a quiet collective of anonymous voices.
