I am calling the new "Apple Silicon Mac" "A-chip Mac", to match "PowerPC Mac" and "Intel Mac". It takes the prefix of Apple CPUs, and keeps the syllable count at 2.

"PowerPC" is four syllabes?
Formally yes but I think it can be almost pronounced as three syllables, which is like the limit for a name called often. "Apple Silicon" is very imposing five syllables, which is way over the limit.
