If you design and deploy “smart” systems without understanding how real humans think and work under pressure, you are not building safety. You are building a trap.
The more complex and noisy your tools become, the more likely it is that operators will misread alerts, ignore the right signal, click the wrong thing, and turn a small event into a full-scale incident.
Your problem is not only threats and malware. Your problem is the way humans and automation collide in the control room.
