In 2020 I saw a lot of dev people starting their YouTube channels and actively posting new content there.
I also compiled I list of some of my all-time favs:

Have you ever considered starting your own dev-related YouTube channel? And what are the reasons behind your decision?
If you already have one, share it in the comments!

I have considered it. A month or two ago, I posted a video tutorial on my YouTube channel) I found that I prefer doing tutorials in a blog format than video (also because editing videos takes a loooooooong time).
Could you share a link to your channel, would love to see what you came up with!
I feel like it's about getting used to the workflow, editing comes naturally too by the time if you do it frequently enough 😉
Here is my channel: youtube.com/channel/UCgq0Cil1meAxq.... Since I'm a swimmer, I also put some Race Reviews up there. Here is the tutorial: youtu.be/1KgN1wQQj58.
I will take a look once I'm home from work 😉👍

I Subed :3
I post some of the programming projects I do to my channel sometimes, but I have to make a new one since most my subscribers are from completely unrelated stuff, so I'd be better off having it be more focused

Great discussion!
I've stared a YouTube channel last year and managed to get nearly 100k views since then 🎉
However still 650 subscribers to go before I can start monetizing :D Any help will be appreciated:

Wait, do you have to have a certain number of subscribers before you can get in on the ad action? Why would they have a threshold?
Yep! There are 2 main requirements, here's a screenshot:

I'm from Dominican Republic so my videos are in spanish(for now) but my code (variable name, functions name, classes, interfaces, etc..) is in english so I think can understand my code

I wouldn't say I'm a
YouTuberper se, but I have a channel with some content; mostly basic/random programming previews/demos and some simple old gaming stuff. No talking, sorry.I have plenty of content to provide in a wide variety of areas, but you won't catch me talking on screen lol.
I will be adding more soon though.

No..
I'd like to record some interesting videos because the code is boring for others. If anyone here can share more experiences. How a developer can be a Youtuber and some tips or advice that would be good.
I started a youtube channel in 2020, because I am very bad explaining things and with this channel I want to improve my skill of explanation and also improve my learnings because for explaining the things you have to go deeper.
I did some, but I'm too busy to continue at the moment. Here it is:
