Why I Built AI Preminds
I’ve always felt that students should not have to depend only on memorizing answers.
A student might remember the correct answer to a question, but if the question is changed a little, they may not know how to solve it. That usually means they remember the answer, but don’t fully understand the concept behind it.
That made me think:
What if students were asked to explain why they chose an answer?
This idea led me to build AI PreMinds, an AI-powered conceptual learning platform for students.
What is AI Preminds?
The basic idea is simple.
Instead of asking students to only select an answer in an MCQ, AI PreMinds also asks them to explain why they chose that answer.
For example:
Why did you choose this option?
What concept helped you reach the answer?
Is your reasoning correct?
Can you use the same concept in a different question or a real-life situation?
I believe this can encourage students to think more deeply instead of just remembering answers.
What does the platform do?
Right now, I’m working on features such as:
🧠 Reason-Based MCQs
Students answer a question and explain their reasoning.
🤖 AI Answer Checker
The AI checks both the answer and the reasoning and gives feedback.
📊 Brain Score
Students can track their progress through areas such as accuracy, speed, retention, and teaching.
📚 Chapter Analysis
Students can see which parts of a chapter they are doing well in and which areas need more practice.
🎯 Topic-wise Tracking
Topics are tracked so students can easily identify where they need to focus.
🏆 Points & Progress
Students can earn points and track their overall progress while learning.
I’m still building and learning
AI Preminds is still an early-stage project.
I’m currently testing it with early users and learning from their feedback. Some things work well, some things still need improvement, and that’s a big part of building the product.
My goal is not to create another platform that simply tells students whether an answer is right or wrong.
I want to build something that helps students ask themselves:
“Do I actually understand this concept?”
That’s the idea behind AI Preminds:
Learn concepts, not just answers.
Try AI Preminds
AI Preminds currently has a free trial, so students and teachers can try the platform and share their feedback.
📱 Available on both mobile and web
🌐 You can use AI PreMinds directly through Chrome on your phone, tablet, or computer.

I’m still building and improving it, so feedback is really valuable to me.
If you’re a student, teacher, developer, or someone interested in EdTech, what would you improve or add to a platform like this?
