Android’s Advantages are closely tied with it’s Disadvantages, not only compared against iOS.

Android is free. Android is perverted with bloatware and spyware by carriers and OEMs.

Were it for iOS to be licensed (commercially) to third parties, everyone — starting with Samsung — would sell their own mother to put iOS on their devices.

Android is available across a lot of devices (and price ranges). Android has poor performance and requires a lot more resources than if it were specialized.

Can you spot more advantages? Disadvantages? Make correlations?

Depends on which Android phone you buy. More money -> less bloatware, a phenomenon which has the iPhone as just another datapoint.

And come to that, [unbiased perspective needed]

Because iPhones have notoriously good battery life?

And if you disagree, same as above: more money -> better performance, a phenomenon which has the iPhone as just another datapoint.

It stands to reason

  • Android was only invested in by Google because Apple wouldn't license iOS.
  • Android can't optimise for hardware because it has to work on too many different types of hardware.
