Why we built Golli
Every family we talked to had the same problem.
Calendars lived in different places. Shopping lists were scattered across three phones and a group chat. Meal planning happened — if it happened — on a Sunday evening under stress. And the apps that promised to fix it asked families to move everything into yet another account, with yet another subscription, and hope their data was handled responsibly.
We wanted something simpler and more respectful.
Golli works with what you already use. It connects directly to Apple Calendar and Reminders — the single source of truth stays right where it is. Add an event in Golli and it appears in Calendar. Add milk to the shopping list and it's there on every family member's phone. No duplicate system, no import, no starting over.
And your data stays yours. Golli has no backend, no tracking SDKs, and no account of its own. Everything lives on your devices and in your private iCloud. That's not a setting. That's how it's built.
What you get on day one
Golli is focused on what makes family life run:
This Week, at a glance. The new home screen gives you an instant feel for the week ahead. A pulse bar shows how busy each day is, members have their own lanes so you can see who is where, and highlights surface what matters — your busiest day, your quiet days, meals planned, and a look ahead to next week.
A calendar that makes sense. A beautiful weekly calendar, color-coded by family member. All-day plans and meals at the top, hours from morning to evening, overlapping events side-by-side, and your current time always visible.
Routines that actually get done. A simple board with a column for each family member plus one for the whole household, split into morning and evening. Create routines, reorder with a drag, and check them off. Each routine lives as a reminder list shared automatically via iCloud.
Meal planning connected to real life. Plan the week in the dedicated Meals tab, save your favorite recipes, and send ingredients to the right shopping list with one tap. Meals appear directly in your weekly calendar, so everyone knows what's for dinner.
Shopping lists that stay in sync. Your lists, finally in one place and always up to date — because you should be able to add something the moment you think of it.
Hub Mode for the wall. Put Golli on a wall-mounted iPad and it becomes a true home display: always on while you're using it, gently dimming when idle, with a calm night screen outside active hours. It quietly rolls over to the new day, so the family always sees what's next.
Optional on-device help. If you want it, Golli can turn natural language like "Dentist tomorrow 3pm for Paul" into a draft event, or turn a messy note into a sorted shopping list — right on your device. It never writes anything without you confirming first, and it never sends your data anywhere. Golli works perfectly without it.
Designed to feel at home
Golli is meant to live in your home, not just on your home screen. We designed it around a warm, calm style — soft cream tones, gentle shadows, and Liquid Glass surfaces that feel at ease in a kitchen or hallway. It's clear enough to read from across the room and personal enough to feel like yours, with your family name at the center.
It runs on iPadOS, iOS and macOS 26, works in light and dark, and supports Dynamic Type and VoiceOver throughout.
