Vs code is a jam packed and awesome code editor, developed and managed by Microsoft. It is helmed to be one of the most widely used code editor. It is also the code editor I am using since a while now and I love the experience. There are certain features of vs code that you should use, and I love myself. Here is the list:
MULTI-CURSORS
Let us say you have the following lines of code
<div class='I'/>
<div class='am'/>
<div class='a'/>
<div class='web'/>
<div class='developer'/>
After, a while of stressful coding you find out that you need id for these divs instead of classes. Most people select them and delete them then write id for every single one. Or else simply copy them. This might be ease for 1 or 2 elements. But when you need to change code in a large scale you will need multiple cursors. Just hold alt and place wherever you want a new cursor. This has huge increase in your productivity. Make sure to try out.
File management
File management is one of the best reasons you should pick VS code for your next big project. It shows the whole directory format on the left. We have the amazing tab design. We have the minimap to fast up our scrolling experience. We've got the ability to customize our icons. We can find any file by searching for it by using the shortcut 'ctrl + P'.
Command Palate
You have the command palate that acts something like the island in the new iPhone series. It is awesome and makes things so much simple that we fall in love with them. We can create shortcuts and access all our extensions using the single command palate
EXTENSIONS
I cannot close without mentioning the huge marketplace with hundreds of thousands of Vs code extensions that you can use right now. They are made by the developers for the developers. It is probably the best thing in vs code. Even you can create an extension and upload it right now. But that's a story for another day. Thank you for reading.
