When I started my journey in Digital Marketing, I had one goal — to understand how businesses grow online and how digital strategies can connect brands with people. After 2 years of consistent learning, experimentation, and implementation, I’ve explored almost every corner of this dynamic field — from SEO to Content Marketing, and from Social Media to Analytics.

What I’ve Learned in 2 Years of Digital Marketing

  1. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) My journey began with SEO, the backbone of digital marketing. I learned how to bring free organic traffic through well-optimized content and strategic planning.

I mastered:

Keyword Research: Using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Mangools, and Keywords Everywhere.
On-page SEO: Title tags, meta descriptions, URL optimization, internal linking, and keyword placement.
Off-page SEO: Link building, guest posting, and outreach for authority building.
Technical SEO: Website speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, XML sitemap generation, and schema markup implementation.
Local SEO: Google My Business optimization and improving NAP consistency.
Analytics & Tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Yandex Webmaster, and more.

My focus: Creating meaningful, SEO-friendly content that ranks well and helps normal users easily understand what they read.

  1. SMO (Social Media Optimization) I learned how to make social media profiles more discoverable and engaging. By optimizing content, captions, and hashtags across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter), I built strong organic visibility.

Tools I regularly use include Canva, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, and Hootsuite for content scheduling and management.

My goal here: Build brand trust and awareness through consistent and creative social presence.

  1. SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Next, I explored Google Ads and learned how paid ads complement organic efforts. I’ve worked with Search, Display, Shopping, and Video Ad campaigns, focusing on keyword bidding, A/B testing, and conversion tracking.

Objective: Deliver targeted paid traffic that generates measurable ROI.

  1. SMM (Social Media Marketing) Social Media Marketing taught me how powerful storytelling and engagement can be. I create compelling content, ad copies, and visual strategies to connect audiences emotionally with brands.

Goal: Build community-driven brand awareness and authentic engagement.

  1. Content Marketing & Copywriting “Content is king” — and I’ve lived this every day. From writing SEO blogs and landing page content to social media posts — I focus on making every piece meaningful, simple, and result-oriented. I use Canva, CapCut, Grammarly, and ChatGPT, among other tools, to ensure my content adds real value.

Mission: Create content that not only ranks but also educates and inspires readers.

  1. Analytics & Reporting Marketing without data is just guesswork. That’s why I learned to analyze data from Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Yandex, and Hotjar to understand user behaviour, performance, and ROI.

Outcome: Data-driven decisions that keep improving marketing performance over time.

  1. Technical Understanding Along with my expertise in digital marketing, I also have a basic understanding of web development concepts, especially in PHP. This knowledge helps me collaborate better with developers, understand how websites function technically, and optimize them more effectively for SEO and performance.

Whether it’s improving site structure, analysing code-level SEO issues, or communicating technical recommendations, my familiarity with PHP enables me to bridge the gap between marketing strategy and website functionality.

This combination of technical and marketing knowledge ensures that every campaign I work on performs seamlessly — both in user experience and search engine performance.

I’m fluent in Hindi and comfortable with reading and understanding English. I’m highly organized, adaptable, and excellent at time management.

Most importantly, I have a deep passion for learning and innovation. I love exploring new AI tools, testing automation workflows, and finding smarter ways to use old ideas in modern strategies.

I believe in continuous learning and regularly explore the latest AI tools, automation workflows, and marketing updates to stay ahead in the digital world.
