Nice tips! Here are a few of mine...

  1. Don't use temporary variables if possible.
  2. Type hint your params/return types.
  3. Functions/methods should be concise and do only 1 thing. If it's more than 15 lines, you might need to break it up.
  4. Write automated tests!
