I don't own a computer. Everything I build, I build from my iPhone and last week I shipped something I'm genuinely proud of: a free AI music studio that runs entirely in your browser.
It's called Music Remix Studio. You upload a track (or try one of the built-in demo tracks), split it into stems with AI, EQ it, remix it with AI text commands, and export a WAV. No downloads, no installs, no sign up. Everything from your phone, completely free, no downloads required.
The problem I wanted to solve
Every free stem splitter I found had the same catch: upload your audio to someone's server and wait. Your song your work sitting on a machine you don't control, just to get the vocals separated. I wanted a tool where the audio never leaves your device. At all.
How I built it
The core is HT-Demucs running through ONNX directly in the browser. If you haven't played with ONNX Runtime Web, it's worth a look: it lets you run real ML models client side with WebAssembly/WebGPU, no server round-trip. The model does the stem separation right there on your phone or laptop. Nothing uploads. Nothing is stored anywhere but your own device.
Around that core I built the rest as a single-page web app:
An EQ for shaping each stem after the split.
AI remix commands type what you want ("make it more EDM", "lo-fi vibe") and the app reworks the track.
WAV export**, including an EDM remix export.
3 demo tracks(Hip-Hop, EDM, Chill) on the home screen, because I learned fast that nobody wants to upload a file just to try a tool. This one change doubled engagement overnight.
Full bilingual support (English/Spanish) with automatic language detection.
The whole thing is a static site hosted on Netlify. No backend. No database. No server costs which matters a lot when your budget is zero.
Building from a phone
People ask how you build a real app from an iPhone. Honestly: the same way, just slower and with more patience. I write and edit code in the browser, test on the actual device I'm targeting (which turned out to be an advantage mobile performance issues showed up immediately instead of at the end), and deploy by uploading a ZIP. The constraint forced good decisions: keep it static, keep it light, make everything work offline first where possible.
The hardest part wasn't the AI. It was video editing for the demo doing that on a phone is its own special kind of pain.
Try it

I'm Geral Pink, an independent developer from Puerto Rico. If you try it, tell me what breaks that's the most useful feedback there is.
