I am the type of person who gets addicted easily, and internet is not really an exception. I struggle to escape the dopamine loop of discovering new content which is something the internet never runs out of.
So I built an app called ScrollBump which is designed to make doomscrolling as tedious as possible. It blocks the distracting apps/websites of your choice for a tiny amount of time like ~15 seconds for every ~3 minutes you spend on them.
As result, you never really feel strong enough urge to disable the blocks, coz waiting them out is easier.
Let's make 2026 the year when unintentional doomscrolling became frustrating, not fun and annoying. 🎉
