Dec. 27, 2019: What did you learn this week?

It's that time of the week again for the last time this year. So wonderful devs, what did you learn this week? It could be programming tips, career advice etc.

Feel free to comment with what you learnt and/or reference your TIL post to give it some more exposure.

#todayilearned

Summarize a concept that is new to you.

And remember, if something you learnt was a big win for you, then you know where to drop it as well.👇👇🏻👇🏼👇🏽👇🏾👇🏿

After 5 days with no response, I learned that not everyone wants to deal with GitHub issues you open just before Xmas 😅😅😅

And I want to contribute to a project, not just ask the author for help.

I did learn a fair bit about JWTs in the meantime, at least.

I learned how to add a really cool feature to my Nuxt module (I think it's cool, hopefully others do to?). Originally, a few weeks ago, when I was asked about the feature, I had no clue how to really approach the problem, but after spending all week on it, I think I got a solution people will be happy with. (article coming)

Taking a deep dive into Fullstack React Graphql/Apollo

I learn how to debug codes that my team member writes.

I was busy writing my end of semester exams. Hence the only thing I learnt is a new way of solving quadratic equations by Prof. Shen Loh
