I learned to be more patient when upgrading to the latest OS. The other day I updated to the latest Big Sur. I noticed that there was no indication of how long the installation will take on the screen so I shut my mac down. It then went on a startup loop until I decided to reinstall the OS.
A watched pot never boils 😄
I wasn't watching it haha

I wrote a very long blog article The Reality of NDN Video Streaming about my "NDN push-ups" website and how well (or not) video streaming works over Named Data Networking global testbed network.
During this process, I learned:
I had an idea about building a platform, where people post a link about an article they like, and then people upvote that and talk about it.
I had this idea WHILE BROWSING HACKERNEWS. so that was fun
Not a new learning exactly but I reaffirmed my belief that communication skills are just as important if not more important than technical skills to perform well at any job
I'm taking a bit of a step back from regular contributions to Forem, and I'm being forced to learn effective issue writing!
I learnt Java, Golang (still no expert tho)
I deployed the Gatsby app to Gatsby Cloud! Yay! 😁
Also, used GitHub Teams for the first time.
Yeah!
I learn how to use the libiec61850 to create the IEC-61850 client/server to do interconnecting each other :).
Awesome!
I started learning how i can do HTTP Requests in Angular :)
Started using material design in react. (I'm an android dev, recently started developing for React and React-native).
Nice!
I have learned to always make a backup of whatever small project I'm working on. Accidentally deleted an entire two-month worth of project but never again. lol.
