Curious what everyone is listening to for podcasts these days, whether it be technical or not. I've been listening to Joe Rogan lately. They're long, but he has interesting guests from all walks of life. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I've been enjoying his podcast. Update 2020: I had only listened to a few of his podcast episodes but did not realize in other episodes that I had not listened to, they were causing harm and danger to folks. So definitely off my podcast list.
I also recently discovered the Script & Style podcast with Todd Gardner and David Walsh. Not sure why this one hadn't already popped up on my radar.
So what are you folks all listening to these days?

Just discovered the Ron Burgundy Podcast.

My favorite podcasts are Meathead Hippie, The Ed Mylett Show, Armchair Expert, And Especially You, Joe Rogan Experience, and for any other pro wrestling fans out there...I love Chasing Glory and Something to Wrestle With.
Darknet diaries is 100% my favorite podcast. Not dev-related per se, for me its more like a "relax and listen to the story" kinda thing. 10/10 would recommend!
☝️☝️ YES!! Best non-tech podcast I've found in a long time!
Thumbs up for Syntax, I get a lot out of it.
If you like dark net diaries, check out swindled. 💯

Rogan has been great for long drives, makes the miles fly by. The only complaint is he will often go down a UFC rabbit hole talking about things that I can't find interesting, but the good outweighs everything.
I just finished "Worm: Audiobook Project" that is distributed as a podcast: audioworm.rein-online.org/ Cool story about superpower in the real world. Kind of like Heros but where people can say fuck.
If you're on android, podcast addict can be easily set up to skip the intro/outro that every episode has.
I've tried to add the ones from my list that I don't already see from everyone else. Everything from developer to true crime, creativity and stuff that makes you go huh!

Your list looks a lot like mine!
And this is only a fraction of the entire list, I probably need a podcast intervention :)
Think I'm at 55 now :O
I'm addicted
Wow! That is a lot of hours I'm betting
Heh yeah, I don't even want to know how many - I'm also a platinum subscriber on Audible. :O
I listen at 1.5x-2x speed with the silence cut out, and I also skip a lot of the interview-y podcasts - unless I really care, or have never heard about the subject.
Which app do you use to store and play them ?
Overcast
I am also an Overcast.fm user for the most part, but I do also like to use podyssey.fm
A few tech podcasts I'm enjoying lately:
There are a lot of others I tune into if I'm interested in the topic of the week.
Outside of tech, Totes Recall is my favorite funny podcast about kind of remembering movies.
The Charlie Rocket Show is a very inspirational podcast about a successful music producer (2 Chainz, Travis Porter) lost 100+lb and did an iron man. He is has a sort of energy that is hard to describe, but it always makes me feel like I can I do anything. I highly recommend the I'm on a winning streak episode if you're curious.
