Last Month - July 2025 Many major announcements from AWS. The cloud giant is now dived deeper into generative AI and global infrastructure.
Let me summarize everything that you should know if you are a cloud engineer, DevOps engineer, or a AI enthusiast.

1.AWS gets into Agentic AI

At the AWS Summit New York they introduced:

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore: Which is a full-stack framework used for building and deploying AI-agents with many built-in support from AWS.
- Long-term memory
- Identity and context switching (Adaptive behavior based on user)
- Browser automation
- Secure sandboxed code execution (secure execution of code in restricted environment)
New Marketplace for AI Agents: Now in AWS Marketplace we can purchase ready-made agentic AI tools.
AWS commited $100 million for its Generative AI Innovation Center to promote the AI-agent development.
Amazon Nova now received some new advanced customization options to increase higher accuracy and flexibility.

Thus AWS introduced some cool features and announcements in New York Summit 2025 for the development of AI-agents

2.Some New Investments for new Asia Pacific(Taipei) region.

AWS announced a new region called Asia Pacific(Taipei) for this they invested about $5billion+ to support the building process of infrastructure in Taiwan.
In Australia AWS committed around AU$20billion which is about US$13billion over five years to expand the data centers located in Sydney/Melbourne with power operation using renewable energy projects such as solar.

3.Enhanced Security

At re:inforce event conducted between (June 16-18) AWS announced some major security enhancements:

Now IAM Access Analyzer capabilities increased to automatically reason across policies and to verify internal access to various resources.
Introduced new tools in AWS WAF and Cloud Tower to increase protection and compliance.

4.Secret Cloud Region for U.S.Government

AWS plans to launch another Secret-level cloud region called (AWS-Secret-West) in 2025. Thus this can enable to store some multi-region classified data for national security and U.S.Government.

5.Strategic Corporate Moves of AWS

A Popular global data/credit service company Experian now selected AWS as its preferred cloud provider for the next phase of its migration.
AWS partnership with RWE which is strategic partnership to power its data centers with carbon-free electricity thus helping decarbonize operations globally.
