I've worked at every point in the stack, from ingest, to machine learning data sets, to building web APIs, to static react. Day to day I work in Python, but have worked in JS, Java, Scala and others.

I like self-hosting everything. What's the fun in not banging your head on the desk for 3 hours trying to figure out why your SRV DNS record isn't resolving to your minecraft server?
