Staying Motivated as a Developer -or- How to Drown in Minecraft

I've been making these little videos to talk about how I'm feeling and today I wanted to make one about what it feels like to not want to do the work.

This one can be hard! staying motivated is tough! they key points I think to being successful are:

1. change up what you're working on
2. talk to others about what you're working on
3. take breaks! realize that sometimes not working is what your body and mind need
4. find people at work you can trust and complain to

In the end your motivation will have peaks and valleys and the most important skill is to learn to ride it out!
