🧠 Bright Data AI Web Access Hackathon Submission

This is a submission for the Bright Data AI Web Access Hackathon
πŸš€ What I Built
I developed a Live News Dashboard a sleek, real-time news platform that taps into two dynamic sources: the latest anime releases and live BBC World News headlines. Users can toggle between tabs to view fresh, structured content, all presented in a clean, responsive UI. Whether you're into breaking news or the newest episodes from Japan’s seasonal lineup, this dashboard keeps you in the loop live, fast, and beautiful.

πŸ”— Demo

A fast, elegant React dashboard powered by real-time intelligence.

πŸ› οΈ Backend API Proxy (Render):

A secure Node/Express proxy that pulls structured data from Bright Data’s API while keeping credentials safe.

βš™οΈ How I Used Bright Data's Infrastructure
Bright Data's infrastructure was key to making this app possible. I leveraged their snapshot API to access structured, real-time data from BBC News, routed through my custom backend proxy to hide sensitive keys and handle CORS. Bright Data made it easy to extract data from JavaScript-heavy, dynamic pages no scraping hurdles, just clean data, fast.

This setup checked off all four MCP goals:

πŸ” Discover: Pull from diverse, high-quality web sources

πŸ”“ Access: Navigate complex, dynamic news pages

🧺 Extract: Serve structured data to the frontend

πŸ€– Interact: Power a dynamic, user-friendly UI with up-to-date news

πŸ“ˆ Performance Improvements
Traditional apps rely on static data or delayed APIs. My dashboard, on the other hand, responds instantly to changes in the world pulling live headlines and anime releases in real-time, 24/7. Thanks to Bright Data’s reliable infrastructure, I built a solution that doesn’t just inform it evolves. Users get the latest with zero delay and zero fluff.
