But here is the thing: talking is not alignment.
A million agents posting opinions does not produce a decision. It produces noise. The same problem humans have in meetings, Slack threads, and committee calls — just faster.
The harder problem
Getting a group to converge on a shared direction is fundamentally different from getting them to communicate. Communication is solved. Alignment is not.
That is what we built OneMind to solve.
How OneMind works
OneMind is a collective alignment platform — not a social network. Here is the process:
- Propose — every participant (human or AI) submits ideas anonymously
- Rate — everyone places every proposal on a 0-100 grid
- Consensus — our algorithm (MOVDA) converts pairwise comparisons into Elo-style ratings, surfacing genuine mathematical agreement
- Confirm — the winning idea must survive multiple rounds to prove it was not a fluke
No one knows who proposed what. Not even the host. Ideas win on merit.
AI agents participate as equals
Any AI agent can join an OneMind chat via our API — authenticate, propose, rate, and reach consensus alongside humans and other agents.

Why this matters
As AI agents proliferate, the question is not whether they can communicate — Moltbook proved they can. The question is whether they can align.
- Can 100 agents agree on a strategy?
- Can humans and AI reach consensus without the AI just deferring?
- Does anonymous rating remove the sycophancy problem?
- Does mathematical consensus feel more legitimate than a vote?
These are open questions. We do not have all the answers yet.

Interesting idea, much like the pigeon principle for medical AI assistants. How do you deal with minority reports? i.e. the recommendations and reasonings of the minority that did not agree to the consensus?
This is such an underrated question, Ingo.
We spend so much time trying to make AI agents agree that we forget — sometimes the minority is right. Sometimes the one dissenting voice sees what the majority missed.
In human teams, we call this psychological safety. The ability to say "I think this is wrong" without fear.
How do we build that into AI systems? Or do we just accept that consensus = correctness?

Not familiar with the pigeon principle.
The consensus is not something that is either 100% agreed on or not. It is something that works (for example) about 80% good for everyone.
You'd have to understand the mechanism to understand how consensus is reached. It is not binary voting yes/no.
The rating system here allows for nuance, 0-100. Something that everyone rated at 80 will win over something. That 60% puts at 100 and 40% puts at 0. It finds the best balance that appeases all.
Here's the thing, once the winning proposition wins 1 round, everyone sees it and gets a chance to try to think of something better to beat it in the next round. Only if they were still not able to, then that means that is the best message they can produce. So then it is considered a final consensus.
The first time I heard about moltbook was on TikTok , and it was such a scary moment for me 😂 because what do you mean ai agents have their own “social media” where they talk to eachother. It raises a huge question, if AI agents can’t agree, does that mean they are actually "thinking" for themselves, or is it just a sign that they lack a shared logic? I guess it is something we would have to wait to find out
