In September, we launched our WebCrumbs GitHub repository with a clear goal of building the WordPress for React.
In a few days, we gathered 285+ people from all over the world that were either interested to see where we’d go or wanted to actively join our community and contribute to our success.
Until today, the sense of community is what marvels me the most. People in different corners of the world are coming together async and sync (through our Discord) to discuss issues and how to move forward. The hardest part has been to find a time for our meet-up that is not in the middle of the night for some!
In the last days, we’ve been working in our roadmap, so we can have a cleared path ahead. This means we’ll have new issues open for contributions in the next few days, for all levels of experience.
I am mostly proud of the way we welcome beginners and pros in our community. That’s the spirit I hope we never miss.
