We got tired of two things:
Tasks with “shared” ownership that nobody really owned.
Status meetings that mostly existed to answer, “Where is this stuck?”
So we built Otper, a Kanban project-management tool focused on making ownership and delivery easier to see.
What we built
A few things we're testing with early teams:
One owner per card - everyone can collaborate, but there's one person accountable for moving the work forward.
Bottleneck detection - the workflow highlights where work is spending too much time.
Delivery reporting - see what's completed, overdue, stuck, and moving through the workflow.
It's still a beta, though.
There are rough edges. Some things will probably break. And we're deliberately keeping the feedback loop short - if something needs fixing, we want to ship the fix in days rather than months.
What beta testers get
The first 100 beta teams will get:
Free access
A direct line to the team building Otper
A chance to influence the roadmap
The ability to shape what we build next
We're much more interested in seeing Otper used on real work than collecting signups.
Want to test it?
The only ask:
*Run one real project through it this week and tell us where it broke, confused you, or got in your way.
*
That's the feedback we're looking for.

I do product QA, so I tried the beta on a fresh account. Two things on the first screen: on the dashboard, Recently Worked On shows My Board as "in about 12 hours" (a future time) right after signup, and the sidebar says "No boards in this team yet" while My Board is listed in the main panel. Steps: sign up with email code, land on Home. I can go through the one-owner-per-card flow and the delivery report next, free, if that helps.
