Both websites are pretty good, both in terms of quality, but also how they have structured its content. Currently, my role doesn't allow me to be hands-on with backend related work. Still, I would like to be aware of what's going on and be able to learn new things from a reputable source.
I have seen Plural Sights, but it feels at times slightly random and outdated when it comes to backend topics. It does seem a bit better tailored for frontend, but I might be wrong.

Hi Rui, what are you aiming for? I don't know if there are websites only focused on backend technologies and the field itself is massive.
Are you looking for something in particular?
Hi rhymes, would be keen on learning more about Distributed systems and Big Data. I feel that given that intersection, this would potentially be the best: coursera.org/specializations/scala
What do you think?
