In 2019, my life took a surprisingly important turn, one that I didn’t realize would shape my entire career.
A secondary school friend reached out and told me he had joined a group that was helping him learn online. I was curious immediately. Anything related to computers had always attracted me. In fact, I had been in a computer institute since JSS1, so when he mentioned it, my first question was simple: Which group is that?
He told me about Neolife FHG, a community he claimed was teaching real online skills and exposing people to digital opportunities. At first, I doubted it. But the passion in his voice made me want to see it myself. I was in SS1 at the time, so I followed him.
That visit changed everything.
The group introduced me to structured learning in web design, digital tools, and other online skills. Even though I already had basic knowledge from my years in computer training centers, this experience opened my mind in a new way. It wasn’t just about knowing computers; it was about understanding how the digital world works and how I could build a future inside it.
Neolife FHG didn’t just give me tutorials; it gave me direction. It pushed me to think bigger, to explore more, and to believe I could make a living through technology.
That spark eventually grew into a full-blown passion. Years later, it led me to professional tech training, a career in web development, digital marketing, cybersecurity, and eventually the creation of Phemight Technologies, Phemight Cybersecurity Pro, and Oturnnews Media, my own IT and media brands.
Looking back, the journey from a curious teenager to a recognized Tech Pro started from that single invitation in 2019.
And I will always be grateful for it.
