I Built 130+ Free Browser Tools — Here’s What I Learned

I started building small web utilities because simple tasks often require opening multiple websites, dealing with signup screens, or uploading files to unknown servers.

That idea grew into AllInOneTools — a collection of 130+ browser-based tools for developers, creators, students, and everyday users.

Why Browser-Based?

One of my main goals was keeping common tools fast and simple.

Whenever possible, processing happens directly inside the browser.

That means users can perform many tasks without creating an account or installing software.

For tools that handle sensitive text or files, client-side processing can also reduce unnecessary data transfers.

What I Learned

Building a large collection of small tools taught me something important:

A useful tool does not need to be complicated.

A good utility usually needs three things:

  1. Clear input
  2. Fast processing
  3. Useful output

The difficult part is often not writing the core JavaScript.

It is building consistent UX across dozens of tools.

Each tool needs proper validation, error handling, mobile support, accessibility, performance, and a simple interface.

Why Build 130+ Tools?

I could have built one large application.

Instead, I wanted each utility to solve one specific problem.

This makes the platform easier to expand.

New tool → new use case → new feedback → better platform.

I am still adding and improving tools based on what users actually need.

What’s Next?

The next stage is improving the existing tools rather than only adding more.

Some areas I want to focus on:

  • Better mobile UX
  • Faster browser processing
  • Better accessibility
  • More developer utilities
  • More privacy-focused tools
  • Better documentation
  • More useful AI utilities
