Scannable
Scannable by Evernote is a document scanning app only for iPhone. It has an automatic scanning functionality that scans very quickly. It has a nifty integration with Evernote which allows one to organise scanned documents neatly. Even though its OCR is not the most advanced, its conversion of business cards into phone numbers is extremely useful.

Scanbot
An easy-to-use scanning app with a pretty UI. It packages this with numerous nifty features such as background uploading to cloud, smart naming, a good OCR and even a PDF editor.
Scanbot's official page lists out what the app is capable of,

Prizmo
A Mac-only app, Prizmo is more than a document scanner. With Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capabilities across 23 languages, it supports extraction of text from an OS X app and to perform various other edits to documents easily.

An app that allows for easy scanning of documents and sharing in various formats across different channels. As the input is from a phone camera, it also does a good job of readjusting the fringes for any background elements that are mistakenly captured.
