Gemini looked at cover.png for our guide "Codex Security for Vibe Coders: Scan, Validate, Patch" and returned a verdict of warn. The flag was text on the graphic. The note read: "Garbled AI-generated text characters inside the central shield graphic."

The same review said the cover fits the dark technical style and the security theme well. The only problem it raised was the unreadable characters inside the shield.

In our pipeline, Gemini's cover review is advisory. The product was not blocked. The alert only says that if the verdict is right, the cover should be generated again before publication.

The facts record the verdict and the note. They do not say which model drew the cover or why text appeared inside the shield, and we will not guess at either.

When an image model puts lettering inside a graphic, have a second model look at the finished file before it ships, because the warning that names the exact spot is the one you can act on.
