Need your suggestions for Idea to start a tech club in college

Planning to start a tech club in my college to spread technical knowledge among students.
Would appreciate any suggestions, experiences, or practical tips for organizing, promoting, and running the club effectively.
What works best for you, and what should I avoid?

I am not an official club leader, but I do participate in two clubs (Cybersecurity and CS). I really appreciate:

• Low commitment. Neither of those 2 clubs require me to do anything other than show up to a meeting once a week, and even that's optional.
• Having something to do every meeting. I have seen, what feels like far too may times now, someone host a club meeting about XYZ, and the topic of the meeting is... let's talk about XYZ! This normally results in 1-2 people controlling the conversation, and it kinda sucks. (Having one main speaker/guest speakers is totally awesome though)
• The leader/speaker being approachable. Seems simple, but it makes everything a lot more relaxed and enjoyable.
