If you follow AI tools even casually, you’ve probably felt this already:
there are too many of them.
Every week there’s a new launch, a new list, a new “must-try” tool. I found myself bookmarking links, saving threads, and still having to search again when I actually needed something.
So I started doing one simple thing: curating tools for myself.
For each AI tool, I asked:
What problem does this actually solve?
Who is it useful for?
Would I recommend it to someone else?
No scraping. No automation. Just manual curation.
Over time, that personal list crossed 100+ AI and productivity tools. That’s when I decided to turn it into a small project called UltimateTools — a curated directory organized by real use-cases like writing, development, design, automation, and productivity.
If anyone’s curious, this is the project:

I’m still improving it and adding tools regularly, and I’m also preparing for a Product Hunt launch.
If you’ve used (or built) an AI tool you genuinely like, I’d love to check it out.
Thanks for reading 🙌
