My Mac app just made its first sale, $2.95, and it means a lot 🥹

Hey everyone,

I just got my first sale for Zuno, the Mac app I’m building as a solo founder.

The payment was $2.95. Seeing someone choose to pay for something I built felt pretty special, so I wanted to share this little milestone.

Zuno helps you organise your files and keep your projects together. Its main features are:

  • File organiser: Browse files by type and collect related files in Project Spaces. Your originals stay where they are.
  • Cleanup: Find clutter and review what you want to move to Trash.
  • Private Vault: Keep password-protected, encrypted copies of private files.
  • Search: Find files quickly and preview them inside the app. I’m bootstrapping this without a paid marketing budget and learning as I go. There’s still plenty to improve, but getting that first customer feels like a meaningful start.

Here’s Zuno: https://buildmeai.co/zuno

I’ve attached a few screenshots of the app. What’s the most frustrating part of managing files on your Mac? I’d love to hear what would make Zuno more useful.
