Yesterday, I added the first project to DEV·TV Community Spotlight.
Today, there’s another one.
CiCrew is now Spotlight #2. 📺

This is exactly why I built the Spotlight feature in the first place.
DEV·TV is a TV for the developer internet. It continuously surfaces things happening across GitHub, Hacker News, developer communities, AI, security, research, releases, and more.
But there was something missing.
The people actually building things needed some airtime too.
📺 Meet CiCrew
CiCrew is a prompt-based app builder.
You start with an idea for a mobile app, describe what you want, review the screens, and then refine the result through chat.
From there, you can build and test a first version, with help preparing for an App Store launch.
It’s a pretty good fit for DEV·TV because it sits right in the middle of several things developers are experimenting with right now:
AI + app development + no-code + mobile.
🌐 Spotlight #2
The first Spotlight was Astratide.
Now it’s CiCrew.
Two very different projects, but that’s actually the point.
I don't want Community Spotlight to become a curated list of the same kind of developer tool over and over.
I want it to show what people are actually making.
A new project can appear on the TV, get its own Spotlight URL, and become part of the stream.
For CiCrew, you can jump straight to its airtime here:

Or simply leave DEV·TV running and let it come up naturally.
📡 A small experiment is becoming a channel
When I launched DEV·TV, I wasn't sure whether the community would care about a developer TV.
Then people started watching it.
Then projects started getting submitted.
Now there are multiple projects appearing in Community Spotlight.
That's interesting to me.
Because the original idea was a TV for the developer internet.
Spotlight makes that idea a little more personal.
Instead of only showing what is happening around developers, the TV can also show what developers are building.
🚀 Built something?
Community Spotlight is free.
No ads.
No payment.
No sponsored placement.
If you've built something and want to put it on the developer internet's TV, send it in.
Maybe you'll be Spotlight #3.
