Last week, I was researching email templates and the problems with them on the internet.

One common keyword search related to email templates is FREE and good email templates, mainly inspired by top companies and emails that convert.

Idea Validation

I’ve found so many email templates on Pinterest and X.com, and I've tried the email builder and an AI chatbot to create them.

Emails are an integral part of business; most top companies handle millions of emails sent per day to millions of users.

For iHateReading, we send 10k emails to our users when we need to share news/information/updates.

Google Keyword search website is not heavily used by me to track the market demand, understand what exactly is needed and searched over the internet, which brings the solution closer to what is demanded in the market.

Free, good, top companies' email templates, this is what people need and searched on the internet a lot.

This process seems to validate the idea, but not exactly. I called this process checking an idea's demand.

Idea validation comes when the MVP is launched within one week or 2/3 weeks max, and collects some real users/visitors data points, but for a small micro business, one can simply find the search keyword trend to know if we have a enough market size to cater to and deliver.

How I built SwipeEmails

I collected all the emails using a scraping technique, then took a screenshot of each of them. Followed by uploading screenshots into my DB and assembling all inside the nextjs repository to build the frontend website within hours.

For scraping, I was using inkgest.com, the Ink to Gest tool, which helps to write, read and publish content from a single prompt or URL.

Inkgest is built on top of my own scraping APIs and an AI LLM layer. Inkgest helps to convert simple prompts + URL to create blogs, newsletters, tables like content or do more like research, compare, deep search, etc.

Process: Scrape Emails (via Inkgest) -> Data labelling for images using custom API and AI LLM -> Frontend website using buildsaas.dev

Buildsaas.dev is the main reason I can put the entire app into production in just a couple of hours.
