What if using AI on your iPhone felt like using a real iOS app—not a website squeezed onto a smaller screen?
That question became AIpine, and today we’re launching it on Product Hunt.
Why we built AIpine
AI tools are incredibly capable, but their interfaces often still feel designed for a desktop browser. On a phone, every extra tap, unclear loading state, and crowded screen becomes more noticeable.
We wanted AIpine to feel at home on the iPhone: focused, approachable, and designed around how people actually use a mobile device.
Building it reinforced a few things for us:
- Mobile AI needs focus
A mobile interface has very little room for complexity. Every element has to justify its place. Adding more options is easy; deciding what not to show is much harder.
- The experience matters as much as the model
People don’t experience model specifications. They experience waiting, typing, navigating, and trying to understand what the app is doing.
A powerful model inside a frustrating interface is still a frustrating product.
- Shipping creates better questions
While building privately, you mostly answer your own questions. Once real people use the product, you discover which assumptions were correct—and which ones weren’t.
That is why we’re launching AIpine on Product Hunt today. We don’t just want visibility; we want honest feedback from people who build and use AI products.
If you try it, I’d especially like to know:
- What feels immediately clear?
- Where does the experience create friction?
- What would make AIpine genuinely useful in your daily life?

Thanks for taking a look. I’ll be following the feedback closely and sharing what we learn as we continue building.
