Hi all π
I'm Su β half Spanish, half Vietnamese, currently floating around Southeast Asia with a laptop and too many browser tabs open.
I've been reading Dev.to for a while and finally decided to make an account, which for an introvert is roughly equivalent to giving a TED talk.
A little about me:
π§ AI obsessed. I use Claude for almost everything β code, writing, research, even debugging recipes when my cakes flop. Strong opinions about prompt design. Zero patience for "AI is just autocomplete" takes.
βοΈ Quantum & space curious. I read papers on weekends. I don't understand all of it. I just like that it exists and that someone, somewhere, is thinking about lattices and qubits and exoplanets while the rest of us argue about JavaScript frameworks.
π¨ Girl in tech & art. I think the dev internet has been too embarrassed about "art" for too long. I sketch, buy art, and make small, cute things that go nowhere. Tech with aesthetics makes my world fulfilled.
π Spanish-Vietnamese in SEA. Born between two cultures, currently roaming a third. ΔΓ NαΊ΅ng β Bangkok β Bali β wherever the wifi is good. Building from outside the Bay Area gives you a different angle on most "obvious" problems.
π§ͺ Doing innovative weirdo stuff. I co-founded a stablecoin payments thing for SEA. I run AI agents that do research while I sleep. I make playlists organized by emotional weather. None of it ladders up to one clean career story and I'm fine with that.
I'm here mostly to learn cool things from people building cool things. Especially:
- Builders outside the usual Bay Area gravitational pull
- Anyone working at weird intersections (AI + art, quantum + crypto, payments + design, etc.)
- People who craft small things just because they love it
- Introverts writing essays they're slightly afraid to publish
I'll mostly lurk and read. When I do post, expect long-ish essays about weird intersections.
Two questions for you, if you feel like saying hi:
- What's something you're building or thinking about that the present internet would call "bullshit" but you secretly think will matter?
- Who's a Dev.to writer I should follow that's not in the algorithm's main feed?
π If any of this resonates, follow me here β I'll follow back genuinely (no auto-follow bot energy, I actually read profiles). Also on X @suda8866.
Thanks for having me π±
β Su

Welcome to the community! Combining tech and art is such a powerful intersection, especially with how rapidly creative coding and AI generative tools are evolving right now. Looking forward to seeing the projects you share from your corner of SEA.
Thanks Syed, let's connect
Hey Su π
Welcome to the community :)
You write in a warm and thoughtful way. It felt less like an intro post and more like meeting an interesting person on the internet for a few minutes π
Glad you decided to post here. Looking forward to reading what you share.
