I'm an Open Source contributor that widely creates C++ and Lua programs.
I am working on the TheAlgorithms organization (on the C/C++ repository).
I've reviewed about 120 PR's, and have fixed errors and improved the code.
I have also completed the Hacktoberfest challenge. It's the first time I joined this great event!

Hey there. I've been in stealth mode for a few years, just growing my skills and learning how to get digital. I came to Dev.to because there's no better place for dev content, and I have some projects I'm pretty excited about, and that I think others in this community will appreciate, also.
My first post here is about my story learning technical stuffs, which led to the idea of creating a not for profit educational organization where members teach each other digital skills.
It's not like legacy institutions are doing anything about the great need for this type of education 🤷

Hi everyone. I'm a software engineer with over 30 years' experience, mostly back-end but also some UI. My core strength is Java but, in a way, that makes it considerably harder to learn React as I now turn my attention to the UI side of my current project, especially as I haven't had opportunity to keep pace with advances in JS, a language that seems to need a different mindset from Java. I hope you won't mind some really dumb questions as I learn the ropes but I'll try to keep my enquiries clear, concise, supported and hopefully answerable!
