I made an app to improve the desktop experience, boost the productivity and keep instant access to our most important content

Boxvy is a productivity app designed to turn your desktop into a personalized, always-ready workspace instead of just a place for icons and files.

Instead of constantly opening folders, browsers, or apps to reach the same things every day, Boxvy lets you pin your most important content directly onto your desktop or status bar as widgets, bubbles, or quick-access icons.

In practice, it works like this:

You can create a menu bar shortcut that holds your most-used files, folders, commands, or websites. For example, instead of opening Finder and digging through folders, you just click one icon in your status bar and instantly open what you need; whether it’s a document, a project folder, a frequently used web page, a terminal command.

You can also keep websites always available on your desktop. If you check the same dashboards or pages every day, they can appear automatically when you turn on your computer, ready to use without searching or reopening tabs.

Beyond shortcuts, Boxvy also supports widgets. You can embed web-based widgets directly into your desktop, like TradingView charts, Yahoo Finance, calendars, or any custom web tool. They behave like native desktop widgets, so you can glance at information or interact with it instantly.

The idea is simple: instead of your workflow being scattered across folders, browsers, and apps, Boxvy brings everything you use daily into one organized, visual, and fast-access workspace.

There are many possible ways to use it depending on your workflow-organization, monitoring, quick actions, or just making your desktop more useful and less cluttered.

I'd love to hear what you think. Your feedback, suggestions, and feature requests help me make the app even better. Thanks for your support!
