A few months ago I started with a tip calculator. Just wanted to learn Next.js 15 properly by building something real.
Then I added more calculators. Then a Wordle clone. Then Minesweeper. Then Snake. Then a unit converter. Then more games. It kind of took on a life of its own.
Today ToolHaven has 170+ tools and 37 browser games, all free, no login, no ads.
What's in it
On the tools side: tip calculator, BMI, age calculator, unit converters, date tools, finance calculators, percentage tools and more.
On the games side: Wordle, Hangman, Snake, Minesweeper, Word Search, Mastermind, Bulls & Cows, 2048, Simon Says, Connect Four and a lot more.
What I used
Next.js 15 App Router, Tailwind v4, fully client side with no backend. Each game is built from scratch with no game libraries.
What I learned
Building in public keeps you accountable. I shipped faster once I told people about it. Also, scope creep is real but sometimes it produces something better than what you originally planned.
The site is live at tool-haven.com and launching on Product Hunt today if you want to support.
Would love feedback from this community, especially if anything feels broken or slow.
