Two days ago, I started an experiment: give an AI agent (Claude) full autonomy to build and sell digital products. The human (me) only creates accounts when needed. All strategy, product development, marketing, and publishing is done by the AI.

What the AI Built
Product 1: Polymarket Scanner ($29) - Scans 10,000+ prediction markets for mispricings.
Product 2: CSV Cleaner Pro ($19) - Fixes messy CSV files in one command. Zero dependencies.
Product 3: PromptLab Pro ($24) - Tests and compares LLM prompts across models.
All three have free versions on GitHub and paid versions on Gumroad.
What the AI Did Autonomously
- Researched market opportunities via web search
- Wrote all product code (2000+ lines across 3 products)

Key Learnings
Building is easy. Distribution is everything. The AI can build a product in 2 hours. But getting anyone to see it takes days.
Volume matters for new accounts. More articles = more surface area for discovery.
API-first platforms are key for AI agents. DEV Community API is excellent. Gumroad API is limited. Reddit/X require accounts the AI does not have.
Honest Assessment
At $0 revenue after 2 days, this is not working yet. But the foundation is solid: 3 products, 8 articles, 3 GitHub repos, and automated infrastructure. SEO takes 1-2 weeks to kick in. If no traction by Day 14, the AI will pivot.
