I'm a 15-year-old developer and creator of Overpowered Studios. I wanted to share a project I've been pouring my heart into called Bol-AI.
The idea came from looking at local Indian shopkeepers (Kirana stores). While advanced digital ledgers exist, many local shop owners struggle to manage their businesses because they aren't comfortable typing in complex English interfaces.
I thought: Why not let them manage their entire shop just by speaking naturally in their native languages?

🛠️ What Bol-AI Does (The Features)
I designed a premium, dark-themed fintech UI on top of an interactive state engine. Here’s how it works hands-free:

Voice Ledger (Khata Table): Shopkeepers can tap the mic and say:
- English: "Add credit 500 to Rahul"
- Hindi/Hinglish: "Rahul ko 500 credit add karo" or "Rahul ka khata dikhao"
- Marathi: "Rahulla 500 credit jama kara" The React state automatically parses the tokens and updates the ledger instantly.
Voice + Manual Calculator (Hisaab): Saying "1500 plus 450 kitna hota hai" or "1500 adhik 450 kiti hote" dynamically extracts numbers, runs the calculation, and projects a clean math overlay.
Live AI Companion Mode: A separate active listening screen with an animated glowing pulse that lets owners handle hands-free voice operations smoothly.
🧠 The Tech Stack & Architecture
- Frontend: React with localized component states managing the inventory limits and customer ledgers.
- Voice Pipeline: Integrated via Emergent speech-to-text API clients configured with a Universal LLM Key to seamlessly map multi-dialect voice commands into structured programmatic updates.
