From Diploma to BE in Computer Engineering: My 3-Year Journey at SITRC ๐ŸŽ“

A journey of learning, growth, challenges, and new beginnings.

Every educational journey has a story. Mine was a journey from a Diploma in Computer Technology to a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineeringโ€”a path that helped me grow academically, technically, and personally.

As I look back on my journey from 2023 to 2026, I feel proud of how far I have come and excited about what lies ahead.

๐ŸŽ“ My Journey Started With a Diploma

My technical education began at Amrutvahini Polytechnic, Sangamner, where I pursued a Diploma in Computer Technology.

During my diploma, I developed an interest in computers, programming, and software development. It gave me a foundation in technical concepts and helped me understand that technology is not just about using computersโ€”it is about solving problems and building solutions.

Completing my diploma with 84.8% was an important milestone. It motivated me to continue my education and explore deeper concepts in computer engineering.

๐Ÿซ A New Chapter: Direct Second-Year BE at SITRC

After completing my diploma, I took the next step in my academic journey by joining Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Centre (SITRC), Nashik, for a BE in Computer Engineering through direct second-year admission in August 2023.

A new college meant a new environment, new classmates, new responsibilities, and new opportunities.

The transition from diploma to engineering was an important learning experience. It required me to adapt to a different academic environment while strengthening my technical knowledge and practical skills.

My three years at SITRC, from 2023 to 2026, became an important chapter in my life.

๐Ÿ’ป Beyond Academics: Discovering Software Development

During my engineering journey, I became increasingly interested in web development and full-stack application development.

I explored technologies such as:

  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • React.js and Tailwind CSS
  • Node.js and Express.js
  • MongoDB and REST APIs
  • Git and GitHub

Over time, I moved beyond learning concepts and started building projects that helped me understand how real applications work.

Two projects that became important parts of my learning journey were:

PanditJi โ€” Puja Booking and Astrology Platform

A full-stack application that helped me explore authentication, role-based access, booking workflows, payment integration, and backend API development.

Live project: https://panditjipuja.vercel.app

Prego โ€” Online Grocery Shopping Platform

A grocery shopping application that gave me practical experience with product management, carts, orders, authentication, and payment processing.

These projects taught me that software development involves much more than writing code. It requires problem-solving, debugging, persistence, and continuous improvement.

๐Ÿค Learning Beyond the Classroom

College life is not only about lectures, assignments, and examinations. It is also about teamwork, leadership, communication, and relationships.

During my engineering years, I had the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities as a Class Representative and President of CESA.

These experiences helped me improve my communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. They also taught me the importance of taking responsibility, working with people, and contributing to a community.

Looking back, I realize that some of the most valuable lessons came from experiences outside the classroom.

๐Ÿ“ธ 2023โ€“2026: Three Years, Countless Memories

From entering college as a direct-second-year student to standing outside SITRC with my graduation memories, the journey feels special.

There were new experiences, challenges, friendships, achievements, and lessons along the way.

Not every day was easy, and there is still so much to learn. But every step contributed to the person and aspiring software developer I am today.

The end of college is not the end of learning. It is the beginning of a new chapter.

๐ŸŽ“ Finally, a BE Graduate!

In 2026, I successfully completed my BE in Computer Engineering at SITRC.

This achievement represents more than an academic qualification. It reflects years of effort, the support of family and teachers, friendships, and the determination to keep moving forward.

I am grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey.

To my teachers, friends, classmates, and familyโ€”thank you for being part of this chapter of my life.

๐Ÿš€ What's Next?

Graduation marks a transition from academic learning to professional growth.

My next goal is to begin my career as a Software Developer, apply my technical knowledge to real-world problems, work with experienced teams, and continue improving my skills.

I know the journey ahead will bring new challenges, but I am ready to learn, build, and grow.

My educational journey has taught me one important lesson:

Your starting point does not define your destination. Your consistency, curiosity, and willingness to learn help shape your future.

From a Diploma in Computer Technology to a BE in Computer Engineering, this is one chapter of my storyโ€”and the next chapter starts now. ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿค Let's Connect

I'd love to connect with fellow developers, engineering graduates, and anyone who has taken a similar educational path.
