Creating content is much more than just having a good idea. For me, it’s a way to learn, absorb new knowledge, and most importantly, share it with you.
Over time, I’ve tested several tools and ended up building my own “content creator survival kit” - and today I’m sharing it here.
1️⃣ ChatGPT - My brainstorming partner
ChatGPT has become my go-to assistant.
I use it when I’m stuck, when I want to explore new ideas, or when I need to review a text. It speeds up the process and helps me see things from different perspectives.
💡 Tip: The more context and detail you give in your request, the more tailored and useful the response will be.
2️⃣ Giphy - GIFs that bring content to life
Sometimes a post needs a little extra energy, and a GIF does the job.
On Giphy, I find everything from classic memes to animations that make the content more engaging and relatable.
💡 Tip: GIFs aren’t just for social media - I’ve also used them in presentations and even in emails to make them more dynamic.
3️⃣ JuxtaposeJS - Side-by-side comparisons
When I want to show a before-and-after or compare two visuals, JuxtaposeJS is my tool of choice.
It creates a draggable slider that clearly shows the contrast between two images. I’ve used it for design changes, UI updates, and technical comparisons.
💡 Tip: Use it only when the comparison adds real value - otherwise it’s just a gimmick.
4️⃣ Carbon - Well-presented code snippets
When I need to share code and want it to look professional, I use Carbon.
It allows me to customize the background, theme, and font to make the code easy to read and visually appealing.
💡 Tip: Create a consistent style for your code snippets. This helps build a recognizable visual identity for your content.
5️⃣ Imgflip - Quick meme creation
Memes are also content - and they can be a great way to connect with an audience.
Imgflip lets me create them quickly without any complex tools. Just choose a template, add text, and you’re done.
💡 Tip: Use memes that make sense in your niche. Random jokes often miss the mark.
🎯 Wrapping up…
These are the websites I use the most in my daily content creation workflow - for social media, articles, or even presentations.
The best part is that they’re all free or have free versions, so you can start using them right away.
Do you already use any of these? Or is there another tool you think should be on this list? 👇
