Why I’m Learning QNX Security in Public: A 3-Year Roadmap

I'm an Information Systems graduate in Jakarta with no practical IT and cybersecurity experience. I'm starting all from zero, resetting my knowledge and reskilling myself. I chose QNX because physical AI is the future, and cars are computers now. QNX is the operating system running inside many of them, anything that's a computer can be hacked, and in a car, that means people's safety.

I’ll post regular updates on what I've learned and things I don't understand, and also some frustration/ranting along the way! Feel free to comment, help, or roast my dream of working at BlackBerry QNX in Canada. The plan is, year 1 learning foundations, year 2 QNX and security depth, and year 3 research and start applying for jobs.

This will be my first post out of many more to come, I've finished my first week objective, finishing CS50x Week 0, submitted Problem Set 0, and building my first Scratch project as you can see on the thumbnail. Btw, this post is also part of my Week 1 checklist. One of my struggles in week 1 is custom block in Scratch, it took me four tries to get a custom block’s input in the right place, but now I understand the difference between defining a block and using it.

That's all for now, the feeling of posting in Dev.to with no technical background sounds so funny but that's fine, this is me just sharing my journey. Looking forward to meeting some wonderful developers/users/people along the way!
