Hey everyone! How's the holiday season going for you all? Hope you're having a jolly good time with your families, stuffing your faces with lots of turkey and eggnog. 🍗🥛 Me, personally? I'm doing amazing, and I'm back with my 12th product of the year, as I promised myself at the beginning of this year. Turns out you can keep your new year resolutions, after all! 😛😎
Anyway, let me introduce to you a very simple but, in my opinion, very useful product, Youtube Detox.
What is Youtube Detox
Okay, first tell me... does this sound familiar?
You want to quickly learn about something new. Perhaps it's a cool historical fact that you want to explore further, or maybe a new interest you developed. You just want to watch a couple of relevant videos quickly and get up to speed, so you open Youtube. So far, so good.
But before you type something, you see the new trailer for that video game you've been eagerly waiting for! Cool, 5 minutes and then you're back to what you were doing. ⌚
Ooh ooh, that new MKBHD video comparing best smartphones of 2019 also just dropped? Sick! 12 more minutes shouldn't hurt. You'll make it up later. 🙇🏽♂️
And wait, the latest episode for your favorite web series is out! Oh well, what's another 20 minutes or so? 🤷🏽♂️
Next thing you know, you've just wasted 2 hours down the Youtube rabbit-hole and now you don't know what you came here looking for in the first place. But hey, at least you know how baby giraffes are born! 🤗🦒
Well, I know this is all too common for most of us. I will admit Youtube is great. Education, entertainment, humor, pretty much every kind of content in one easily accessible place. I get to learn a lot from it, ya know, and I'm sure you all do too. But it can also be a huge time-sink, especially when you're getting bombarded with recommendations left, right, and center (quite literally). 😫
So how does Youtube Detox help?
With Youtube Detox, you can change this behavior. Start with a simple, minimalistic page that lets you search anything on Youtube directly without the distracting home-feed. 😎
For privacy enthusiasts, you can also use Youtube Detox to save your history locally and disable your account's Youtube History. 🔏

I don't get it. This is just, pretty much, a page which redirects to YouTube after the search.
Exactly what i thought. we can just google that search query with YouTube keyword it will be the same thing just one more click and but have autocorrect
