Claude Code Bingo: 50 Things That Happen to Everyone Who Uses AI Seriously

After 50 days of running Claude Code autonomously, I started recognizing patterns. Not technical patterns — human patterns. The same things keep happening to everyone who uses AI seriously.

So I made a bingo card.

How It Works

  1. Get a randomly generated 5×5 card from the pool of 50 moments
  2. Click/tap squares that have happened to you
  3. Get bingo (row, column, diagonal — classic rules)
  4. Share your score

Every card is different. 50 items in the pool, 25 per card, randomized every load.

Some Items From the Pool

A sample, since every card is different:

  • "AI fixes a bug, introduces two new ones" — classic
  • "Context window runs out mid-task" — you learn to /compact early
  • "AI rewrites your function 'for clarity'" — nobody asked
  • "Session costs more than your lunch" — true for some sessions
  • "AI asks 'shall I continue?' (obviously yes)" — stop asking
  • "Pre-commit hook saves the day" — yes, this is why we have hooks
  • "AI hallucinates an API endpoint" — with complete confidence
  • "AI apologizes for something it didn't do" — the apology loop
  • "MCP server connection fails" — always at the wrong moment
  • "/compact triggers at the worst moment" — during the critical part

I got bingo on the diagonal in my first game. Two columns were almost complete.

The Real Question

How many have you experienced? 5? 20? All 50?

If you've hit most of them, you're either running AI seriously — or suffering through AI seriously, which at this point is the same thing.
